AM AN ADULT

I wonder why..

But I am an adult..

I know my self and I take responsibility

Am accountable to myself before any other.


Allow me make my own mistakes

Allow me take my own decisions

Certainly, I can decide my own life

Don't police me around, am an entity


The times have changed, so am I too

I know what is best and good for me

You can't decide what it is on my inside

I chose to be who and what I want to be.


Having watched the process and progress

Am scared for myself but I have to make my own decisions and decide my fate in this life

Pray for me if you truly care, thats all you owe me


The impact you can make was when I was much younger, now am a moving force, nothing stops me but me, don't pressurise, I chose to me what I want to be, no matter how much you influence.

I am an adult

I make my mistakes and take my blames

I make ammends and prepare for a chance tp make a difference, applaud me when am good, pray for me when I fail, but don't scare me, you are not better than me.


You once passed through my times, you made your own decisions and it took you somewhere good or somewhere bad,  allow me make mine, I am also an adult.

 I saw a post where someone made a comment and said "try and sit at the other side and see how painful it is when you talk down on people. It is so sad and never a welcoming situation when you feel you are always better of, you don't have an iota of what people go through and you just imagine or assume somethings can never happen to you.  Sincerely, no one ever wishes for anything wrong or bad to happen to them but again, life always happens, a minute we merry the next second we are in pains, we find answers to our pligths and again we just wonder and weary why and how it all happened. If you understand that life comes in phases, you wont be bothered by what happens around you so keenly So many things are enough to make you feel less a person, when you allow them take hold of you. There are catalyst who propels you to go out of your way to see that things are done or better still satisfy people and contents, yet we also have pressures who forces you to do things out of your will power to satisfy personal self or a greedy community. Be intensional about everything you do, don't allow sentiments of any sort becloud your thoughts. Be accountable for your actions, take responsibilities for them and make sure you avoid every form of explanation to anyone, they are absolutely distractions. Never apologise for your feelings because you were intensional about it, rather make feasible ammends in the situation where you hurt any one. Just almost when i got to the food stuff sellers shop, she also arrived, carrying Agege bread on her head, looking so hagged and hungry. How much is this rice, it looks so fine, the food seller replied her, its 400 per derica, while I was waiting to be attended to, she continued give me one derica, I don't eat rice with stones, I won't be able to eat it, she told the food seller, she buttressed again,  I can't eat rubbish because I don't have money, I left with my items while I pondered on the scene that just played out, the bread seller looks so unkept, probably from the hawking and again very hungry, even though she might not be able to afford the perfect life, but she deserves to eat the best, even if thats not what life has given to her.
