MARRIAGE PALAVA

Many a time, i just smile at the outcome of things, events and what people do, probably bcos of their positions in life.

Just yesterday, i did something very funny but my joy was that i passed my message to the madam involved.

Below is the conversation that ensued between me and her right from my inbox. 

Madam.. Nne happy quarantine and how you dey hold body o, 

Me.. Huh

Madam.. I know say you be super woman but vivian abeg chose one guy already, you are too chossy.. Wetin, mtcheww 

Me.. Ignored her. 

Madam..abeg all these guys way dey distrub you marry one, make i come chop rice. 

Me, bia xxxxx, how you take marry your own, did you just wake up from the blues and fiam you just married, didnt you chose.??? 

Madam.. what do you mean by that??? 

Me.. Xxxxx, no lemme play your tape for you o. 

Madam, Vivian, you dey crazy abi you high. 

Me.. While i was typing, madam bkocked me. 

Me.. I freed her..

Later two days ago, while i was dancing to Jerusalem by master on my phone, fiam her called stopped my music.

Me.. Picked the call, cos it was a strange number. 

Madam, Vivian na me you dey insults abi,.. 

Me..while i was trying to know who was at the otherside, madam was just raining insults at me.

Me.. i didn't say a word. When i realised she was the one. 

Me.. I went straight to the tap, on the tap and allowed the waters to gush on the floor and placed my phone on speaker beside the tap. 

Madam, was shouting at the top of her voice, Whatsoever she was saying, i dont know o. 

Me.. I Left d phone by d tap and went off to do my chores. 

Me.. i came back, some minutes later to find out that madam was still talking. 

Me... I kukuma left the phone there o. 

Me,.. after 36 minutes madam went off the phone

Me.. I continued with my song, kai..Jerusalem by master na better song o.. Burts my head with reckless abandon

Me.. i blocked her lines and even the unknown number too, i dont hv tym for eye service fags, this a lady that hasnt checked on me in years, only called me and told me about her wedding last year, i couldn't attend but i supported her and bought her asoebi o and even sent in my own gift, barely a year in marriage, don turn.. My special adviser 

What i don't understand about some married people is this, so because you are now married, you turn marriage counsellor, ancient seer, special advisers on who to chose and who is wasting ones time.

Like i will always say.. Its not everyone who says hi to you means you will give listening ears to, many people come for various reasons, marriage is worth the wait, afterall is for a life tym

Just almost when i got to the food stuff sellers shop, she also arrived, carrying Agege bread on her head, looking so hagged and hungry. How much is this rice, it looks so fine, the food seller replied her, its 400 per derica, while I was waiting to be attended to, she continued give me one derica, I don't eat rice with stones, I won't be able to eat it, she told the food seller, she buttressed again,  I can't eat rubbish because I don't have money, I left with my items while I pondered on the scene that just played out, the bread seller looks so unkept, probably from the hawking and again very hungry, even though she might not be able to afford the perfect life, but she deserves to eat the best, even if thats not what life has given to her. If you understand that life comes in phases, you wont be bothered by what happens around you so keenly So many things are enough to make you feel less a person, when you allow them take hold of you. There are catalyst who propels you to go out of your way to see that things are done or better still satisfy people and contents, yet we also have pressures who forces you to do things out of your will power to satisfy personal self or a greedy community. Be intensional about everything you do, don't allow sentiments of any sort becloud your thoughts.
