A BIT OF GOODNEWS

The other day, I was busy enumerating the sad news and so many records of death undeserved that happened in our domain and that was enough to weigh me down.

Today, I woke up with a bit of good news that made me smile and enlightened my mind, the story of a young lad below 20, it was told that he picks trash in the popular Ariaria market in Aba, a shop owner gave him some trash to discard yesterday without knowing that there was some new products in the bag.

This, morning, the young boy, saw the products and returned the goods back to the owner despite the fact that alot of people asked him not to return it and sell it off.

The young boy returned the goods and the shop owner welcomed his kind gesture, we hardly celebrate good wins in our world today, we are always quick to share bad news and easily forget to equally share the good stuffs too, to encourage someone other there.

There are some stories of good samaritans who stand their grounds to diffuse goodness and great behaviours, we fail to share such stories but we are always ready to propagate the bad ones.

Let us learn to encourage, promote and give in credence to virtues that should be emulated and strongly adhered to in a world that is fading away from such virtues.

Just almost when i got to the food stuff sellers shop, she also arrived, carrying Agege bread on her head, looking so hagged and hungry. How much is this rice, it looks so fine, the food seller replied her, its 400 per derica, while I was waiting to be attended to, she continued give me one derica, I don't eat rice with stones, I won't be able to eat it, she told the food seller, she buttressed again,  I can't eat rubbish because I don't have money, I left with my items while I pondered on the scene that just played out, the bread seller looks so unkept, probably from the hawking and again very hungry, even though she might not be able to afford the perfect life, but she deserves to eat the best, even if thats not what life has given to her. If you understand that life comes in phases, you wont be bothered by what happens around you so keenly So many things are enough to make you feel less a person, when you allow them take hold of you. There are catalyst who propels you to go out of your way to see that things are done or better still satisfy people and contents, yet we also have pressures who forces you to do things out of your will power to satisfy personal self or a greedy community. Be intensional about everything you do, don't allow sentiments of any sort becloud your thoughts.
