OUTGROWN RING

I was in a bus heading north when I broaded with a married woman in her late fifties who sat next to me.

We got talking and shared life issues, she was from my clan and that gave her ample reasons to open up to me on matters that concerns marriage and relationships.

While we chatted she made it very vital pionts I won't fail to share, has started by saying there is this symbol that notifys that one is married which happens to be the wedding ring.

The wedding ring can't be outgrown no matter how old you become in marriage, no matter your status and position, marriage is truly humbling.

She went further to say that she has been married for 23 years and still counting, even though she isn't wearing her ring anymore because she finger got bigger than the ring but she narrated why one can't outgrow marital symbol and what it entails and stands for.

The wedding ring signifies being married and staying married, the boundless bond that binds couples, the power that reminds one that you don't allow infidelity out rule you.

Though it's a symbol of marital union but it's goes beyond the ring hence it brings about tolerance, perseverance and consistency in all aspect of the union.

Young and intending couples should learn to do all they can to keep their marriage, strive to become better and grow to love and nurture their marriage and see beyond the ring and own their marriages to high esteem and keep it scared.

Just almost when i got to the food stuff sellers shop, she also arrived, carrying Agege bread on her head, looking so hagged and hungry. How much is this rice, it looks so fine, the food seller replied her, its 400 per derica, while I was waiting to be attended to, she continued give me one derica, I don't eat rice with stones, I won't be able to eat it, she told the food seller, she buttressed again,  I can't eat rubbish because I don't have money, I left with my items while I pondered on the scene that just played out, the bread seller looks so unkept, probably from the hawking and again very hungry, even though she might not be able to afford the perfect life, but she deserves to eat the best, even if thats not what life has given to her. If you understand that life comes in phases, you wont be bothered by what happens around you so keenly So many things are enough to make you feel less a person, when you allow them take hold of you.
