WHY WE NEED EACH OTHER

 

Often times when we indulge in disagreements, we hear different types of acidic words from people we never can tell they actually said those words to us. 

We hear, words like "I can do it all alone, I don't need you to help me, I can always help myself, I am more than enough etc, the list goes on and on, then you start to wonder why we allow sentiments to soil good relationships and tarnish what we have built over the years. 

If we must achieve alot and go farther in life, we need unity to function, we need each others capacity and capabilites, we need to access and accept our differences to promote and project a better cause. 

We should realise that no man is an island of knowledge, of intellect and of wealth, some how, we need the next person to get to our goals and no one is so useless that he has no function to execute.

In our world now, we are linked with so much competition, we feel we have something to brag about, some to showoff like a trophy and a spotsfish to showcase, we are more concerned about self and careless about the next person, all we want to do is to win and bother less of our neighbour doing well at all. 

Whatsoever we achieve should be for the common good of each other, we need to stop the hating, the jealousy and envy and retract our steps for the common good of others, you can't praise your self alone when you win, so you see, you won but you need others to share your glory. 

Unity brings about equality, dignity, love and respect for one another, we can't be united and see less of these values, its the crust of why we are first humans before we could be what status and society calls us. 

No matter what we are projecting, who we are labelled and the status we occupy, it's clear that we need each other to be better and also attain our goals, a landlord needs the gardner to keep his surroundings beautiful, he needs the cleaner to make his home clean, he needs his cook to make good meals, his house help to runs errands, his driver to take him to a place, truth be told he can do these things too but he won't be able to achieve all within a space of time. 

Our status can elevate us to think we are better than them or well placed than others but sincerely, there is no way we can be everywhere at the same time, there is no way we can achieve all these by ourselves and still maintain these status, certainly we need each other always. 

Learn to appreciate those who are not in your class, you can't do without them, be humble enough to accept your faults when you hurt them, they are also human beings, extend a hand of fellowship, reach out and never forget humble beginnings, because indeed life is full of mysteries, we are all faced with turning tables.
